Hospice is a program provided for patients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and have a life expectancy of six months or less. Hospice consists of an interdisciplinary team that includes physician services, nursing services, social services (counseling, home care aides, and homemaker services), spiritual services, volunteer services, bereavement services, and specialized services when necessary.

Hospice is a special concept of care designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families. 

Hospice services are provided in the Barren River Area Development District (BRADD).
