T. J. Samson’s Board of Directors Welcomes New Director
Board Chairman Dan Foutch is pleased to announce the appointment of Rich Alexander to the T. J. Samson Community Hospital Board of Directors. “On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are pleased that Rich has accepted this appointment. Rich brings years of legal experience to T.J. Samson Hospital. He will indeed be an asset to T.J. Samson as the hospital continues to strive to meet the healthcare needs of our region,” states Dan Foutch.
Rich Alexander is a local attorney and partner in the law firm of Richardson Gardner and Alexander. This year marks his twentieth year of practice. A Glasgow native, Mr. Alexander graduated from Glasgow High School in 1985. He attended the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He attended the Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and graduated cum laude in 1995 with a degree of Juris Doctor. Mr. Alexander is currently city attorney for Glasgow, and the board attorney for the Glasgow Water Company, the Housing Authority of Glasgow, and the Glasgow-Barren County Industrial Development and Economic Authority (IDEA). In the past, he has also served on the board of the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce.
“For over eight decades, this hospital has been a cornerstone institution for our community, as well as surrounding counties, and has provided quality care to countless individuals,” said Mr. Alexander, “so to be selected to sit on T. J. Samson’s board is quite an honor. I look forward to the experience and the opportunity to contribute in any way I can”.
Mr. Alexander is married to the former Tammy Sittler, of Glasgow, who is a registered nurse working at South Green Elementary School. The couple has three children, Trey, Emily and Riley.
