Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine
The T.J. Samson Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine is an outpatient treatment center for people with nonhealing wounds, such as diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, traumatic wounds and ulcers caused by circulation problems.
The specially trained doctors and nurses will provide a comprehensive, individualized course of treatment. Treatment options may include:
- Advanced wound dressings.
- Compression therapy.
- Debridement.
- Bilaminate skin grafting.
- Pressure-reducing equipment.
- Footwear.
- Nutritional counseling with disease education.
- Transcutaneous oxygen measurements and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
- Inpatient consultations.
Our physicians and nurses are current with state-of-the-art treatment alternatives. The Wound Center is open for appointments from 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
