Mammography
A mammogram is a very low-dose x-ray of the breast using specialized equipment and technology. This technique provides the sharpest images of the inner structures of the breast and has been developed to detect lumps or abnormalities before they can be felt during physical examinations. This early detection of breast cancer saves lives. Both the American Cancer Society and the American College of Radiology recommend that women have a baseline screening mammogram between the ages of 35 and 40 and once a year after age 40.
The Radiology Center at T.J. Samson Community Hospital offers high-quality mammography and specialized diagnostic evaluations by a multidisciplinary staff expert at meeting the highly sensitive and personal issues of each patient.
Pediatric unit
The pediatric unit at T.J. Samson Community
Hospital is designed in a kid-friendly atmosphere and consists
of 17 private rooms, including a negative pressure isolation
room. The unit also houses a multipurpose room for family
and children and includes computers with Internet access,
a TV and kitchenette.

Special Delivery Maternity Center
The Special
Delivery Maternity Center takes a comprehensive approach
to your pregnancy. We offer support throughout the pregnancy
with parenting classes and a 24-hour hotline to answer
any questions that arise. You can be confident that both
you and your baby will be cared for by skilled professionals.
The staff of board-certified physicians, certified nurses, midwives, specially trained nurses, lactation consultants and supportive others work to make every delivery a special event in the life of your family.
