Volunteering—Planetree Volunteer Services
As a volunteer, your mission is to assist staff, patients, family members
and visitors. The role of a volunteer is one of compassion,
support and encouragement. If you have a desire to learn new activities

Volunteer opportunities
- Greeter – greet and escort people to their desired location
- Coffee Cart – deliver complimentary coffee and teas
- Grounds Crew – for those who enjoy working outdoors
- Soft Touch – providing a relaxing touch to the hands of patients and staff
- Office Assistance – help with filing, organizing, and photocopying, etc.
- Nursing Stations – assist staff on nursing units
- SNU Blooms – help patients pot flowers, make flower arrangements, fill vases, etc.
- Pillow Creations – make pillows for cancer patients
- Healing Arts – share your musical and art talent
Many more volunteer opportunities are available; we tailor to meet the needs of each volunteer.
Teen Volunteer Program
Students age 14 to 17 can explore the health care field. The program begins after the school session is complete and runs for six weeks during the summer months.
