Clinical Laboratory
T.J. Samson Community Hospital’s clinical laboratory is staffed with knowledgeable and highly trained personnel. Sophisticated, computerized biomedical instruments provide accurate and reliable lab tests. Your physician will use these results to diagnose and treat diseases. Laboratory services are available to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
The laboratory is accredited by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and based on biannual inspections. The laboratory is inspected yearly by the Kentucky State Laboratory Inspector and is inspected every three years by the The Joint Commission (TJC).
The laboratory is under the medical direction of pathologists Jerry Gibbs, M.D. and Warren Eisenstein, M.D.
